"Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture” (Psalm 100:3)
Our Father, we come in worship. We come before You with gladness and joyful songs (Psalm 100:2). You have made us glad.
We know that You are God; Your are our Creator, our Sustainer, our Shepherd. We are the sheep of Your pasture, the flock under Your care (Psalm 100:3). You make us lie down in green pastures...You restore and refresh our souls (Psalm 23:2-3)
We worship You, Almighty God! We bow down in awe and reverence before You. In the past You said of Your people, “you are My witnesses, and My servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe Me and understand that I am He. Before Me no god was formed, nor will there be one after Me” (Isaiah 43:10).
Lord, that is still true of Your people today. We are Your witnesses, Your ambassadors through whom You appeal to the world to be reconciled to You (2 Corinthians 5:20). Help us to know and believe You, and understand that You are the One true God. Before You no god was formed, nor will there be one after You. You are the Alpha, and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End" (Revelation 22:13). Help us to serve You well, help us to serve You faithfully.
"Accept, Lord, the willing praise of our mouths, and teach us your laws" (Psalm 119:108).
