No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37).
Abba, Father, thank You for the blessed assurance that those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God (Romans 8:14). Thank You for giving us Your Spirit who Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children (Romans 8:16).
Infinite God, You see what we cannot, know what we cannot, understand what we cannot. Your thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8) and that means that often, the language, the vocabulary, the context through which we process is limited. Yet, Lord, Your promises are trustworthy, Your word is true, and You have given us Your Spirit of truth, who guides [us] into all truth (John 16:13).
Help us to surrender our own expectations to Your supreme wisdom. Help us to trust Your plan. You have promised that nothing in all creation... will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:39).
We commit to You all those in the midst of trouble, of hardship, or persecution, of famine, of nakedness, of danger, of sword. We call on Your defense against all that would rise up against Your kingdom purpose. We release to Your authority and to Your perfect will all that threatens our physical safety, our mental and emotional wellbeing, our spiritual security.
In Your love and Your power, we are more than conquerors. Your promise is enough. Your love is enough. Your grace is enough. Let Your kingdom come. Let Your will be done.
